Ropox was established in 1962 by the manufacturers RObert Jacobsen and POul Hansen, whose names are associated with the company name. X stands for the employees.

As early as 1967 Ropox introduced the first height-adjustable table with tiltable tabletop. A unique table for wheelchair users as well as visually impaired and functionally disabled persons of all ages.

Since then we have concentrated our development on this group of users and have become one of the world's leading specialists within the production of assistive technology products and furniture for the disabled as well as equipment for occupational and physiotherapeutic rehabilitation.

Our development efforts are based on experience from Denmark. For many years it has been traditional to adopt a socio-political attitude and will to ensure all citizens a good and safe life. Today the Ropox products are recognized worldwide for their high quality, flexibility and user orientation.
